About This Event

On Saturday, February 21st shake the winter blues and kick off the 2015 running season with Back on My Feet Chicago’s exciting Mardi Gras Chaser 5K/10K. We have taken all that we have learned from years of participating and partnering with the top races around Chicago to create this race.

 

Join us for the only Mardi Gras race in town that also promises to be the most festive 5K/10K! There will be masks, music and motivation. The good times will then continue at the post-race party.

 

Need one more reason to join us? So many races are for charity... but few are for a charity that is all about running! Back on My Feet Chicago uses the power of running to help change the lives of those experiencing homelessness in our city. All proceeds from the race will support Back on My Feet in providing programming to change lives one job, house, and mile at a time.

 

Who: 500+ Back on My Feet friends, family and Members
When: Saturday, February 21st , 10:00am. 
Where: Montrose Harbor, course has been USATF certified.
What: All race participant will receive masks to be worn on race day and Polar Fleece premium and all finishers will earn beads galor.  

Race Registration: 5k $35 until Jan 31/$40 after; 10k $45 until Jan 31/$50 after. REGISTER VIA THE FORM BELOW.

Sleep in Option: $20 per person. Do you want to support Back on My Feet but don’t want to roll out of bed for the race? Then register for the Sleep in Option, you will receive the race swag but don’t have to leave the comfort of your bed.

Volunteers

Volunteer with us at Back on My Feet Mardi Gras Chaser 5k/10k! Whether a runner, BoMF supporter, or simply someone who loves catching the lakefront sunrise, here’s your chance to make a difference and spend a morning with Back on My Feet Chicago. We are looking for 75 volunteers to assist with race day operations for our Mardi Gras 5k/10k.

 

Responsibilities will vary, but may include: gear check, course marshaling, water stop prep and participation, start and finish line operations, and general race assistance. No matter what role, your help will be an integral part to making the race a success!
